With the ongoing lockdowns across Australia, the states and territories continue to update their regulations and legislation relating to the National Cabinet Mandatory Code of Conduct for landlords and tenants. We provide you with this updated table which summarises the updated regulations by state.  
 

The overriding intention of the Code is unchanged, and the Code continues to provide the framework for state regulations and the principles for negotiating amendments to existing lease arrangements, having regard to the commercial disruption caused by the pandemic.
