Directors and Associates
Geoffrey is a Director of LPC Cresa and is also a registered valuer. He is also an associate of the Australian Property Institute and an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of Australia.
Prior to forming LPC Cresa in 1994, Geoffrey was an Associate Local Director in the Valuation Division of Jones Lang LaSalle in Sydney. He has worked on a number of major projects around Australia including assignments in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Geoffrey’s property experience includes corporate consulting, commercial leasing, commercial property management and valuations.
Over the last seventeen years he has specialised in corporate property consultancy for tenant / occupier organisations – he also regularly lectures on the subject for the Property Council of Australia.
John is a director and stakeholder of LPC Cresa.
Over the past 20 years, John managed organisations in both Australia and Africa that provided property services and related advice to clients before establishing a management consulting practice. As a consultant John had a longstanding consulting relationship with LPC Australia which was the basis for his current participation in the LPC Cresa business. John’s focus is on the ongoing review and improvement of every aspect of the LPC Cresa business to ensure that LPC Cresa’s processes and offerings are well aligned with the real estate requirements of tenants and occupiers.
John’s property experience includes managing property services organisations, consulting to clients in relation to their real estate and property management requirements and representing occupiers on leasing matters. John also writes and speaks on management topics and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
James Carslaw is the Director in charge of LPC Cresa in Perth.
James has been providing leasing consultancy (Transaction Management) services to occupier organisations in Perth and elsewhere in Western Australia since 1994. Prior to this James spent five years in property funds management and commercial property management James’ property experience includes real estate advisory, financial analysis, lease negotiations and project management, he has a Diploma in Estate Management (UK), is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is a Property Council of Australia Certified Property Manager.
His experience includes premises acquisition (new lease transactions), lease restructuring and market rent review representation. The size of the briefs range from500m2 to 20,000 m2.
Julian Kurath is a Director of LPC Cresa and is responsible for a range of transaction management services and lease management activities.
Prior to joining LPC, Julian was employed by United Group Services (formerly United KFPW) as a Portfolio Manager responsible for the management of a range of leasehold premises across the country. Julian completed a Bachelor of Property Economics from UTS in 2002.
His experience includes lease administration, site acquisition / disposal, provision of strategic advice, research, cash flow analysis and providing a range of occupier based activities.
Director – Perth
David Barnes has over 15 years of experience in the commercial property industry in Perth, having, on behalf of corporate developers, participated in numerous residential, commercial and industrial property developments across the greater metropolitan area. David’s skills include a thorough working knowledge of the property development process including the design and construction process (and its key industry participants), the structure and mechanics of property leases and leasing, as well as a broad knowledge of the commercial real estate market in Western Australia.
David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Quantity Surveying and prior to joining LPC Cresa was Estate Development Manager at Westralia Airports Corporation where he was responsible for the commercial property development across the estate.
Ken Lam is a Director of LPC Cresa and is responsible for a range of transaction management services.
Ken was previously employed with a major accounting firm and was part of the real estate team. Ken has held various roles as a valuer, corporate real estate consultant and an acquisition manager. His experience includes lease negotiation, site acquisition, negotiation of compulsory acquisition matters, transaction management, lease restructuring, rental reviews, strategic advice, premises disposal and general property advice.
Director – Projects – Perth
Peter Neunborn is a seasoned property and construction Project Manager and Director of LPC Cresa Projects. With two decades of experience in Western Australia, he has developed a speciality in client–side project management and has successfully delivered projects that include new building works, refurbishments, tenant fit-outs and land development (including environmental rehabilitation). These have been in the Aviation, Commercial Office, Retail, Hospitality, Government, Industrial, Education and Community market sectors.
He provides technical expertise, client requirement assessment and has extensive experience in contract negotiation and management. He is a logical thinker and skilled project planner. His ability to coordinate executive-level project stakeholders and participants from initial ‘needs analysis’ workshops and planning activities – through to procurement processes and risk management – enables him to deliver large, complex and integrated projects within cost and time constraints.
Director – ANZ Industrial
Michael has over 30 year’s experience in real estate valuation, property management, leasing and consulting in both private and listed companies. He specialises in the provision of strategic advice to property occupants management, project feasibility and analysis. He has extensive exposure to all sectors with particular expertise in the industrial sector.
Prior to joining LPC, Michael founded his own property consultancy, Birchmore Property. Immediately prior to Birchmore he was Head of Property for Holcim Australia and New Zealand for 13 years.
In addition, he has held senior positions with JLL and KPMG and has extensive experience in the management of Federal Government property assets through his time with the Department of Finance in Canberra and the Federal Airports Corporation in Adelaide.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Business (Property) from the South Australian Institute of Technology (now University of South Australia) and a Bachelor of Accounting from Flinders University.
Manager – New Zealand
Andrew Mason is the manager of the LPC Cresa New Zealand office with 12 years experience in the management and operation of commercial and industrial buildings. Andy has developed specific project management skills in critical environment construction and maintenance and the fit out, relocation and consolidation of commercial properties throughout New Zealand.
Andy holds a Master of Business Administration degree together with a number of building services qualifications. Prior to joining LPC Cresa Andy has worked in the construction, building services & facility Management sectors.
Mark Stott has over 20 years of experience in the property industry in both Australia and the United Kingdom with roles varying from specialist valuation, asset management and tenant advisory.
Since 2007, Mark has specialised in tenant representation and advising corporates and government bodies on a wide range of commercial property issues.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Property from Curtin University and formerly practiced as a Licensed Valuer.
Gillian Heath joined LPC Cresa in early 2006, after completing a Bachelor of Business in Property Economics from the University of Western Sydney.
Gillian is responsible for a variety of transaction management and lease administration activities. Recent projects completed include securing new office space, lease re-structures, and managing a co-location to new premises across various national markets. Gillian is also responsible for overseeing and managing the lease administration team.
Gillian’s experience and responsibilities range from lease negotiation, site acquisition, transaction management, lease restructuring, financial analysis, research, premises disposal and providing strategic advice services to clients nationally.
Associate Director – Perth
Scott Collinson joined the LPC Cresa team in 2018, bringing with him over 20 years corporate property experience in Perth and London, where his has worked with companies such as CBRE, Charter Hall, Hardy Finance Corporation, Savills and Great Portland Estates. His professional experience is diverse and includes Tenant Advisory and Landlord-side property and asset management for large institutions as well as smaller privates.
Having worked both on the landlord and Tenant Advisory side, Scott has a deep understanding of the commercial aspects from both sides of real estate transactions and, coupled with his broad knowledge of the local commercial property market is able to deliver outstanding outcomes for LPC Cresa’s clients.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Property from Curtin University and was awarded membership of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Kris joined LPC Cresa in early 2013, after completing a Bachelor of Property Economics UTS from University of Technology Sydney. Prior to completing his degree completed a Diploma in Real Estate services.
Kris is responsible for a variety of transaction management and lease administration activities. Recent projects completed include securing new office space, lease re-structures, and managing a co-location to new premises across various national markets.
Kris’s experience and responsibilities range from lease negotiation, site acquisition, transaction management, lease restructuring, financial analysis, research, and providing strategic advice services to clients nationally.
Norman Saad joined LPC Cresa in 2017 and is responsible for driving and growing the lease management division of LPC Cresa. Norman has over 25 year’s experience and was previously employed with a major corporate real estate firm, being responsible for a large government account.
Norman’s experience and responsibilities range from account management, lease negotiation, site acquisition, transaction management, lease restructuring, financial analysis, research, and providing strategic advice services to clients nationally.
Edward Andrews joined LPC Cresa in 2018, after completing a Bachelor of Property Economics and a Bachelor of International Studies at the University of Technology, Sydney. Whilst undertaking his studies Edward worked full-time as a Commercial Real Estate Agent on Sydney’s North Shore where he gained valuable experience and expertise in the property industry.
Edward is responsible for a variety of transaction management and lease administration activities, as well as sourcing new clients. Recent projects include securing new office space, lease re-structures and other administrative duties.
